Lina Frauenfeld, MD

Dr. Lina Frauenfeld is a dedicated nephrologist with a deep passion for kidney health that began in her teenage years when her grandmother underwent peritoneal dialysis. Originally from Colombia, she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of South Florida before attending Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital and pursued a nephrology fellowship at UF Health Shands Hospital.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Frauenfeld enjoys baking, spending time with her children and four dogs, and making cherished memories at Disney.
